Happy Mothers Day mommies!!! It was a beautiful sunny day in Seattle on Sunday. Jenne and fam came over for lunch and a trip to the park. Kyle and I watched a movie then took a nap, I couldn't wait. Thanks to all the moms who 24/7 work to "keep things together". I am proud to be among all the strong moms in the world. I am thankful Kyle has blessed my life and turned my values in another direction. Enjoy!
Grandpa came out to celebrate Kyle's 2nd birthday! We had tacos and a quiet night in on his birthday. That Sunday we had the second party with a few of Kyles friends. It was jungle themed and turned out to be a great party! Kyle ran around and screaming with excitement! Awww it's good to be two!

We had a lovely holiday season. I baked and baked and baked. We traveled to St. Paul, MN to visit our family. I LOVED St. Paul. It was so nice to see and meet new family. Kyle did great on the airplane, he didn't cry once. He also did very well adjusting to the time difference. Better than us, I think. I was included in many of Matt's family traditions...Grandma Linda made us her traditional Christmas breakfast, then we attended a beautiful Macy's Christmas presentation with a visit to Santa at the end and Pockie (Matt's Dad) made us a tasty lasagna, Matt's favorite. I am so thankful to be a part of the family.
Back in Seattle we celebrated a sunny Christmas. It was very different from last years snow storms. Kyle slept in till 9:30am (ahh... priceless) and then we ate breakfast and slowly opened presents. On Christmas Eve we traveled to our close friends homes who greeted us with goodies and wine! Kyle had playmates at every house and had a blast!
We hope everyone had a safe, yummy and joyous holiday season.

Summer 2009 has been a busy one that's for sure. Some family and friends have been harassing me to post a new blog so here you go! Even though our family has been busy we managed to fit in some family outings. We went to the aquarium, parks, zoo, museums and fed the ducks. Kyle is right on track for his age, every morning he wakes up I think he has grown over night! He is eating ALOT, running, hiding, laughing, talking, signing and dancing. He really loves Sesame Street and so are mom and dad!
This year for Halloween I took the chance and made his costume. It turned out soo cute. I hope you like it.
Enjoy the pictures and they will come more often I promise ! Now leave me alone! hehe

Kyle and spent a day with the tulips! Every April Washington celebrates tulips! We have huge tulips festivals with music, food and dirt! Kyle discovered dirt for the first time. I let him run around as much a possible. He did very good with the tulips, being very gentle. It was a good day for mommy and Kyle to spend all day together. Including six hours of traffic and Kyle did great. (As long as I keep feeding him he was all good.) CONTINUE READING...
